I have 3.5 Altima coupe with 225/35ZR20 90 tires and would like to know if the lower springs would be able to work with my car. I read that if you have 20's then there is a chance of rubbing especially hitting bumps and all that. Any help would be great.

Also is there a way to move from the 225 tires to 245 tires and keep my same wheels?

Thanks again.

What is your rim offset? If your current tire width isn't rubbing, do you think 10mm more tire on the outside of the wheel will cause any issues?

you can change from 225 to 245 depending on your rim width. 245 is ideal for an 8.5" wide rim but it will fit a range of rim sizes, about 7.5-9.5. but keep in mind that with a skinnier rim, you'll get a bit of bulge and with a wider rim, your tires will be stretched which will also affect the overall height of the tires. LBC has 20's and he's lowered with no rubbing problems just so you know. i think dr.feelgood is too

Yea I have read where LBC has is lowerd with no issues but I also noticed that our tires were different so that is what was making me wonder. I dont have the 245's right now but im thinking I will make the switch, my rims are about 8 1/4 so from what you said it seems like it would be fine to do the switch. Is there any noticable difference with the wider tires? I really want to drop my car but I dont want any problems since I am running 20's.....
