Quick: Do I need the S13 Silvia bumper brace for conversion?

I did search.....Having trouble getting bumper to meet fenders and not leave a gap with bumper and headlights. This is a S13 Silvia conversion going on a 89 S13.

Nope won't work with the usdm bumper. I just went ahead and made the usdm work. Have to slot the back hole for the stud and then drill new holes for the front bolts.
