quick coilover question

i just got my set of pbm coils in last week and i went to go put them on the car and one looks like it was tightened down when the top hat or whatever was crooked and now wont line up. how do i fix it.

You are talking about the pillow ball mount and the strut is not parallel, right?

That's fine. Coilovers supposed to do that. [IMG][/IMG]

Tie the top hat down, and you should be able to move the suspension arm.

lol you move it with your hands bud. That thing is supposed to move around on an axis. The best way i guess is to bolt the camber plate to the car with the 3 bolts then you can rotate the rest of the coilover until its where it needs to be.

No, just do what Omega said. With the top hat bolted to the car you'll have a larger moment of force and it will be able to move it wherever you need.

i feel like an idiot lol and another question to adjust the height do it spin the spring perch or whats connected to the car?

Did it come with any directions?

There should be a "perch" that is locked against the bracket that bolts the coilover to the knuckle. Loosen that "perch" and you can spin the bracket up or down. When you have it where you want, lock the "perch" back against the bracket and you're done.

If you want a more user friendly coilover I'll trade you my Tanabe coilovers + cash for your PBM ones.
