I really couldnt give you an educated answer without seeing what you are working with.

pics of clutch with hardware? i cant even tell what size those bolts are, so yeah.

No idea. could they be for your pressure plate? Never seen Hex head pressure plate bolts though.

id say try threading them into the flywheel.....if they fit they are probably for holding the pressure plate on......thats just me though. why they send 9 when you only need 6, i dunno. maybe instead of the 3 dowels that are normally there you use the bolts in place of it. only speculation though. you have the parts, so examine them and see whats up.

they do thread into the flywheel and the dowels are already in the flywheel. it seems like theyre used to keep the pressure plate on, cause theres enough holes in the flywheel and pressure plate. but i dont want to put them on if theyre not what thats for ya know? i just want to find out for sure before i keep going. thanks for the help so far tho

i would keep the stock hardware installed if its still in good condition, and keep the extras available.

Better safe than sorry.

good call. i think what im going to do it mount the pressure plate on the dowels and see if i can use the old hardware. if not, i guess ill be using the new ones. it just confuses me cause ive never seen the hex head bolts used for this

if there are holes available in the pp and flywheel, then use the hex head bolts. if spec designed them to have 9 bolts, then use 9 bolts. and dont overtighten, i snapped one of my oem bolts in my brand new aluminum flywheel last night. backed it out ok, but it was just funny

bro in law: be careful, dont overtighten that boltme: i know im not a dumbass *snap*bro in law: told you not to overtightenme: im a dumbass

i got them in alright. no problems. i tightened them to what i believe is the torque spec.
