Had to have my car towed because my slave cylinder went out. But it also looks like my clutch fork might be bent. If it is, could I use a KA24E clutch fork or do I need to order a CA18DET fork from Japan? THX

What makes you think u bent it? It has a curve to it already. Have you ever changed your clutch befor?

are you sure the fork has bent?

It's reasonably common for the pivot to break.

First off, nab911 of course I have changed out a clutch and I know there is a bend in the fork. Im not a f'ing newb and I dont apriciate being talked down to like that.

Jezz, you brought up a good point about the pivot that I didnt think of at the time and thats quite possible.

I havent actually droped my trannie yet to look over all the damage so I really dont know if the clutch fork is fine or not. I just wanted to know if it was possible to just swap over my KA one if it was bent. I also doubt it is bent but looking at the damage from the outside it looked possible.

I broke the pivot in my KA transmission, it was a freakin $4 part that wound up costing over 600 bucks to fix. I had a new clutch put in and also the flywheel resurfaced.

I can check the forks tomorrow. My KA transmission is laying in the garage and my CA is apart right now. I'll let ya know something tomorrow.
