quick brake answer needed!

I need to order parts tonight to get them for tomorrow. How do I know if my 92 vert has anti lock brakes or not?

if im not mistaken , i believe none of the verts have ABS. its just the front rotors that are from a ABS system. so you will need to get ABS pads for the front and just regular pads for the rear. If im wrong im sure someone will step in and correct me

Hey BiXLL,Weellll, officially it does not, BUT it does use Anti-lock brake pads (like Slip said just the fronts... the rears are non Anti-lock. Nissan put the bigger pads on the convertibles, but didn't equipt them with anti-lock brakes. If for some reason your car had a "dealer/aftermarket" installed unit, you would see a large controller unit attached to the MC area (Someone pipe in and correct me if I'm wrong). I believe it was NOT an option from Nissan directly with the convertibles. We've seen a few with the dealer installed units. Good luck with the Twins... good to see you got another one..

Got the front pads changed and 1 caliper changed. Was surprised that Avance had it all in stock. Thanks again guys!

Just fyi, for the rears, abs & non-abs are the same (rotors, calipers, pads).

Basically, just consider verts as an "s13 w/ abs" whenever ordering oem parts from somewhere in regards to rotors, calipers, and pads.
