QUICK AUTO TO 5 SPEED, SPEED SENSOR QUESTION

So no junk yard will sell me the speed sensor for my transmission so that i can finish my 5 speed swap. My question is if i go buy a speed spensor from an auto parts store can i use the pinion gear off of my auto transmission speed sensor or not. all help will be appreciated

no the one on the auto is pink vs. the manual one is red. they have different pitch on them.
