Quick Audio Grounding question for the pro's

Ok, just wondering.. How much would bad audio grounding or too small gauge wire affect audio output from an amp.I know the numbers for the + power wire but do they apply to the ground also? somthing I was always curuious about.. Thanks in advance

I am no electrical wizard, but one of the things I do know is the ground wire should always be as big, or bigger than the power wire

Yes, perfect answer! Ground should ALWAYS be as big or bigger than power wire!

Thank you Gentlemen for your reply.. yeah, thats what I read also, ground should always be the same size as the power wire.. No smaller than 10 gauge (If over 500w) and the shorter the better. Thank you Again
