alot of guys run no power steering on a hachi.

on a 240 its different story.when i was driving moutains one night my p.s. belt snapped off or something, when i pulled over and checked it was m.i.a. lolgrip driving wasnt too bad, some people say you get a better feel of the road i didnt think so at all.

drifting on the other hand, i do, and i think most do, alot of small quick steering thats really difficult with manual steering since its really hard, and SLOW. im not huge, but im 5'11 and 170 pounds so im not some puny little guy either.id keep it at almost all costs.

to kamin, i posted the picture because it was of my car, if you werent so simple minded and looked at the whole pic, instead of the girls *** then you might say "hey thats a nice car"instead of saying that a pic of a car at hot import nights ,with a girl in front of it is "unnessasary"

hate to burst your little bubble, but the girl wasnt the reason i took it down. notice how i said unnecessary NOT inappropriate. here are the reasons i removed it, listen close.

1) this is a technical forum. your picture had nothing to do with your question.

2) its the drifting forum. not a hard parking forum. i could care less about pics of your car with hot half naked chicks sprawled out all over it because it has NOTHING to do with drifting. so for the future, action pics or nothing at all in here.

insult me all you want, but this forum is just starting to grow within NICO and i do my best to keep stuff ON TOPIC in here. you want people to respect your car post it in the multimedia forum. but not in a tech forum.

so again, if your picture has nothing to do with your question, or drifting, dont post it in here

thank you.

I drift without power steering and I like the feel of it. The hardest thing about it is recovering from a high speed drift if you get out of control.

That depends. Do you have weak little girly arms or some ripped pipes? Short answer...No.

i hope it wasnt your power steering belt. last i checked thats the belt that connects the water pump to the crank.

i have had no ps on my rx7 (an 88 non turbo) and it drifted quite nicely... the only thing was when you catch the transfer, it tended to do a little ripping off of the arms.
