there are two total sensors.

the single wire one is for the cluster. as long as the sensor matches the cluster (aka s13 to s14 to s15) youre ok, regardless of motor.

the two-wire one is for the ecu. this is the one that would cause drivability issues if anything. not related to gauges at ALL. IDK if its the same. i wouldnt see why not. same temps are to be reached on both motors. i have a spare from my spare SR. need one?

Ill give you a hint autozone, advance, napa, all of these company's have the same suppliers, Just different company names and the product is boxed differently.

Incorrect.

Autozone carries all of their own s***, aka Duralast garbage.

Advanced Auto actually carries TONS of different brands. I can't wait until MGE sees this one. He's a manager at Advanced.

JP, it's weird my car ran weird sunday night as well. A good beating fixed it, though.

Smart guy it is just a box and label, i was a store manager in texas, And i have put up many stores im not guessing i know thats why the part numbers are interchangable smart guy!

For autozone that is, no matter how much arguing you try to cause this has already been proven.

Thats why alot of people that quit lets say autozone advance will hire them real fast cause they will already know the part number or the sku!

youre a total retard.

and knowing an SR20DET and a KA24DE coolant temp sensors are the same has NOTHING to do with advance or autozone you fool, we never had the TURBO version in the states.

you open your mouth way too far, too quickly.

just shut it, and we will all be better off.

Wow, now this is funny. There are many different manufacturers of the same part, and if you were a manager than you should have been able to understand that the computer system and the brand names exchange part #'s to be compatable and easy to look up and find. 3/4's of the people that work at autozone and advanced auto parts are clueless anyway. And you have strengthened that belief with your comment. Thanks for letting me see that in true form and function.
