I hope this is not a repost because I was unable to find "risolone" using the SEARCH option.

A few days ago, I noticed the KA24e motor start to tick really bad whenever I cranked it. I thought it did that because of the weather being colder than usual. It would get worse whenever I hit the accelerator. Considering the fact that these motors have self-adjusting lifters (hydraulic), I was stumped for a good bit not knowing if I was able to fix anything without an engine overhaul job. I decide to give it a shot since it was only under $4 for a quart-size bottle of "RISOLONE" oil treatment. I was skeptical at first, but that sh*t actually works. Now, my car is back to normal (crossing my fingers). Anyone with this similiar problem should give this stuff a try. Why not...it just cost 4 jr. bacon cheeseburgers!! (sorry for the WENDY'S infommercial)

Mine tick like a b@stard! I had the arms off the other day and was thinking about tearing into them, but kinda got turned back by the little retainers... I may have to give this a shot!

Mine started to do it all of a sudden. It was weird because after I turned the car off for a while and cranked it back up the noise "went away". Of course, the noise evidentally came back and I was scared to be stuck on the side of the road. Give this stuff a try. It works for me because I have been driving for a few days now and the noise has not resurface. Wally world has them for under $4.
