Quick alternator help

K so I bought my ring terminals and 1/0 wire to do my big three upgrade was going to do a right up on how to do it but.....
I have no clue how to get to my alternator. nissan and infiniti decided to put the smallest engine bay around our engines and i have no idea how to get to the alternator...
Questions...
1. how do i get to my alternator in order to do the big three upgrade? do i need to take hoses out of the way or other parts? is that hazardous?
2. while i'm on the subject... how do i get the alternator out to change it to a HO alternator for future reference....
Any help and suggestions would be good help

I never removed it, but the first thing that comes to mind is : get the fsm and see how they say you should do it....

Remember that you can get access to the sides of the engine through the wheel wells.

k so i was just looking at my alternator after i took the battery out and i found what i think is the positive terminal on the alt. but not sure because the boot isn't red...... but from what i know about alternators only the positive terminal has a boot right?

just did the big three i was able to get to the positive terminal with some body contorsions i will try to take pics and post a how to for those of you planning to go big with power demands...... hopefully i'll get the pics and write up posted for everyone....
