quick 5lug question

I bought some 5 lug hubs off of a guy on here, and i got them and installed them, but with the bolt on all the ways the hub has in and out play.

I'm told s14 hubs are 32mm and s13s are 30mm, that's talking about length right? I have s14 hubs i presume?

No s14 spindles are actually bigger in diameter, not length, so what could be my problem with these? I don't think washers are a good idea huh? I'll have the pin in

The actual diameter is bigger...washers won't fix that. You need matching spindles and it's also recommended that you use s14 balljoints

No listen, mine slide on flush, just like my s13 hubs did. But when i bolted it down the hub actually can still come out a little bit, like the hub is shorter, but it fits on the spindle flush with no wobbling at all.

Do you have the metal spacer behind the nut?

Are you talking about the front or the rear? The fronts (S14) will not bolt onto the S13 spindle. You will have lateral play as the newer spindles are thicker. You need the S14 spindle and bearing hub as a whole. The rears bolt on just fine.

the rears will fit fine. but the s14 fronts wont work in the front without more stuff like lca and s***

there is a big thick metal spacer stock that you need or else you have play

Like seriously? I don't have them on my stock s13 4 lug hubs, not washer or anything. Does anyone know where i can buy some?

The washer, while important does not change the fact that the S14 spindle is thicker than the S13. Will it bolt on? Sure, but it is in no way the correct size. You need to bolt the bearing hub onto the S14 spindle which connects to the S13 lower control arm via the S14 balljoint, which also happens to have a different taper to it.

No, the hubs are fine, I didn't realize there was that washer in side it, this is the first time i've ever removed front hubs before and the washer was actually still suck in the s13 hubs. Sorry guys thanks!
