If I was able to get a sr20de engine from a 200sx or sentra or whatever. Could I convert it over to SR20DET??? and if I can what would the cost be??? and would I have to change internals aswell??? or just plumbing and ecu along with fuel upgrades of course?

Just wonderign cause it seems useless to me to get a sr20det from japan then upgrade pretty much everything it comes with. ie. intercooler, turbo its self, bov, down pipe, etc. if you want to make some serious power. why not just add the upgrades as you change it to turbo???

i believe the SR20DE is front wheel drive so that right there would screw things up.

The Q's and J's were SR20's im sure they can get them for cheap, I don't think its worht it because they are hella slow so why not dish out the extra cash for the K engine?

The J's and Q's WERE RWD SR20DE engines. You won't find many here. Everyone wants the turbo engines. You will probably have to special order an engine, which will almost certainly cost more.

If you want N/A performance, buy a DET, get a new exhaust manifold and some different pistons and/or conn rods. Boom, de-tuned SR20DET.
