I'd say a 2004 copy of the Merriam Webster English Dictionary =) Just ragging on you, find pictures of the 240 you like the most on edmunds or somewhere.

No real holy grail of 240's just a matter of prefrence Some like the S13 some like S14 & S14a. There is also a s13 convertable but u dont want one of them. Weird people own those cars.:D

They're all pretty decent (s13, 14) the acceleration stock is not bad (but don't push rpms past 5gs til you get an intake setup...kinda bogs off) But anyway, on the s13 body style, the weight distribution is a nearly perfect 50-50 like the new RX8. I don't know about the s14's I wasn't to much into them, but they're growing on me. Watch out for the 240s with classic drift dents. Don't want an abused car that some kid beat the clutch and every other necessary part of the car.

I agree there's no one model year that's better than another. They're all good. The convertibles are most rare because they were offered only 1 year. But the performance/reliability differences between the older SOHC and newer DOHC motors areminimal. It really boils down to which look you like best and how much you want to spend.

i thought convertibles were offered from 91-94? and theres only like a 10hp difference between sohc and dohc.
