Alright I have a few questions....

1. How do i remove my crank pulley? I put it in 5th gear like i was told, and used a 1 1/16 sized socket to try and get it off.. and it seemed like it was making some pretty weird noises...i dont wanna break anything...How should i go about doing this?

2. I ordered some gauges and ahve no clue how to install them...Where do i put the senders for the water temp, oil pressure, and boost gauges?

1. sounds like your going to need to use an impact, and then youll need a 3claw gear puller from the autoparts store (you should be able to rent one) to actually pull the pulley off2. oil psi - get a brass T (all female) and i think youll need an adapter and T off where the stock oil psi sensor is, and put the stock sensor in the T alsoboost - tap into and vac linewater temp - if it is and electric gauge with a sending unit you should be able to just buy this

just measure to determine what size you need (radiatpor hose size)

Probably going to need the impact and a puller. Usually do when it hasn't been off for awhile.

You'll need to tap the oil line with a "T", as mentioned, but it is either a metric pipe or british pipe thread (can't remember which right now ) which you probably won't be able to find at your local hardware store. Try a custom tube and hose shop etc. Boost is pretty simple, like he said, just tap a vaccuum source somewhere. I mounted my water temp sending unit in the thermostat housing area. There was a hole there (can't remember what for originaly, I stripped a bunch of stuff off my engine) that I just tapped (1/4" pipe) and installed the sender.

1.Use the socket and a 'breaker bar', not a ratchet socket driver. Rest the breaker bar handle onto the chassis rail on the driver side. Use a length of pipe over the handle if the handle isn't long enough. Then blip the starter motor with the gearbox in neutral, run the starter for the shortest time possible. This will loosen the crank bolt that holds the pulley on. Getting the pulley off can be harder. Using two big screwdrivers can do it, but a 2 or 3 claw hydraulic bearing puller is needed.

2.- Boost gauge is best tee'd off the back of the plenum.

- Water Temp can be placed inline somewhere (not easy), or under radiator hose.

- Oil pressure needs to be placed in the pressurised line, normally Tee'd off the oil presser sender hole. I would recommend using remote mounting the sender from a tee piece, as the weight of the factory sendor and the gauge sendor can break the tee piece. I saw 2 of these brass tee-pieces break at a recent track day. dropping all of the engine oil onto the track.

Cheers,Chris
