Ok, so most of you have probably seen the G35 MEET thread.

Johnmp, Yerv, Chonmoreno, and I all met at Newport Pier and drove up PCH for about a mile and then lost each other...

That's not the point. The meet made me realize a couple of things about my G.

1. I wish I had a moonroof (my previous car did).

2. I want 4 or 6 point seatbelts.

3. Why don't I have automatic headlights?

#1 is something I'll just have to deal with.

#2: Do you guys have any suggestions on this. I think I'll have to change out seats if I want crossover X style seatbelts, but if I can add them to the existing seats, that would be great.

#3. Why don't I have auto lights? Was it an option in 05? Is it feasible to add them on?

1. tough luck...you got a sunroof right?

2. The only way I know how to get a harness is to put in a roll cage. You attach the seatbelt to the rear bar behind the drivers seat.

3. You have auto lights.... look on the headlight switch, there should be a big AUTO setting. I'm almost positive it was a standard option. (I have an 05 6MT coupe too)

No sunroof or moonroof. Just metal

Yerv looked for the AUTO setting too, but it's not there.

I just looked again and nothing.

Let me take a wild stab and guess that your steering wheel is moved manually...you don't have the premium package. The non-premium package is rare...

"Premium Package:Dual-sliding glass sunroof with one-touch open/close feature, Bose audio system with RDS and 8 speakers, auto on/off headlights, power tilt/telescoping steering, A/C dual zone, automatic anti-glare rearview mirror, HomeLink Universal Transceiver"

I've got the auto lights on my 04.

They do make a harness that bolts to the floor behind your seat. I don't have a link for you at the moment but I'm sure you can find them easy enough.

Damn, do I have a stripped down coupe or what.

Yeah, that would be mine. I was wondering why the steering wheel was manual. I also though there were memory seats in the other one I drove too.
