I think my J30 has a factory alarm. I no longer use the remotes but am having an issue relate to the alarm arming and going off at times. It began with a dead battery and was solved at the time by using the key in the drivers door; however it seems to happen from time to time. Is there any way to disable this function or to control it better? any help

I believe the drivers door and the trunk opened with the key is the disarm method .Ive never had a remote. But I do know she will self arm after a certain time frame even with the door unlocked ..Just lock then unlock the door and off you go .
