Hi I am obviously new to this forum. Just got a 2006 M45 sport with low miles. Over the last several days of driving, I found some odd/unusual things that I wanted to find out if it's fine or wrong.I've read posts up to 40+ pages so far on this forum and searched little bit but couldn't really find threads of these, so here I am.Please help me on these. I'm going to the dealer in 2 weeks to find out about some of these problems.
1. Well, I found the possible thread about this, but answer is not there. IT's the rubbing kind of noise when you turn the wheel while moving. It's usually when you turn the wheel some great amount. The noise is hard to describe but basically I thought I had flat tires. That's what noise is like. Possible bearing failing? I don't know
2. When I stepped outside while car was on WITH A/C, I heard some kind of gurgling sound from the front. The sound is like "cho ro ro ro ro ro (lol best I can describe)". Turn the A/C off, you don't hear this anymore. Is that supposed to be normal for Ms? I know it's little louder when A/C is on for any cars, but this one's very unique, so I was wondering.
3. When you have the turn signal on and turn, does it make 'tick' sound? I assume this is normal, but I just never heard this sound in my previous cars. Only makes it when you have the turn signal on and start turning the steering wheel to that direction.
4. After your trip, you park your car and before turn your car off, is your car loud than normal? Before I turn my car off, my passenger opens door to get out, I feel this loud humming noise what's kind of annoying to my ears.
5. when you move the shifter into 'P', does your car make a noise? I think this is normal, but kind of louder than I assume. I've been driving manual, so not familiar with this anyways.
Well, these are concerns for my car right now. I might be over hearing things but just wanted to check to make sure what's normal and what's not. Thank you
