questions on swaps

hi this is cody from ruckus-racing. we specialize in hybrid swaps for drift cars. i was wandering since the rb swaps have become pretty much the new sr20. are people still intersted in the vg30 swap. any info will be helpful. and also what other swaps would people be intersted

well I can't speak for the rest of the community, but personally I have recently started collecting parts for a Toyota 2jz-gte swap. I think this has become pretty popular lately although I imagine it would garner some mixed feelings from the nissan folks. If you want to specialize in swapping engines into a 240sx my recommendation would be the RB's, SR, CA, maybe the VQ35 and now VQ37....if you want to do toyotas the 2jz-gte will fit, so I'm sure the 1jz will fit too. The chevrolet LSX series engines will fit (a cammed LS7 powered 240sx would be a BEAST). I don't know about the ford modular motors, they have very large cylinder heads due to the DOHC, but maybe a dodge hemi if you just want to do something unique...not my taste personally but to each his own.
