I have a 1996 240sx se with about 96,000 mi. When wouldyou want to change the stock springs and shocks(how many mi?). And when i do replace them whats a nice bang for my buck, ad real streetable? I was looking at Tokicos with Eibach sportlines, and kep my 16" wheels andputon Khumo Ecsta Supras on them. If anyone knows any prices and some different sugestions it would be cool.

sounds great to me. I've got sportlines already, and they lowered my 240 a nice amount (but not the "slammed" look.) I now plan to get the Tokico blues for $288 at groupbuycenter.com. If you wanna see a pic of my lowering job, email me and i'll be happy to send you a pic.

After I move to college this month, I'm going to be ordering Koni Yellows and Eibach Prokit or SuspTech springs.

I couldn't tell you the difference between the shocks, but the sportlines lower about 1" more than the Pro-Kit. I've heard a lot of ranting about the Pro-Kit becuase its hard to even notice a difference. The sportlines say they lower 2.1" which may seem like a lot, but in reality it lowers around 1.6-1.8" which is perfect.

THe sportlines are stiffer, therefore better handling, but a rough ride. If you get shocks at the same time, it should be all butter.

Hope I helped.

The H&R Sport springs lower ~1.4", right between the Eibach types. And they are very streetable...
