I am looking to reduce the wheel/fender gap but wanting to maintain the ride comfort. Have a 2007 M35 base model. I've seen the Eibach Pro Spring kit at Tirerack for ~$200. Does anyone have experience with those? Or are there other options I should consider?

Also, saw some nice looking wheels at DiscountTireDirect. I don't know much about the brands but wanted to make sure that I don't end up with a bent rim later on. Anyone know much about Tenzo rims and how they hold up?

Any advice would be appreciated!

checked out Burtman and there are two other options there for lowering: Espelir and Tanabe. From the description alone, it looks like Tanabe might be a better choice in terms of ride comfort.

Experience and suggestions?

can't help out on springs but there are other options as well.

coilovers (JIC, Tein, HKS) I have the JICs and love them - fully adjustable to my specs for height and damper adjustment as well.

you also have air systems (airrunner, Universal Air)

how is the ride comfort for the JIC's? keep in mind I have the M35, not the M35 Sport.

hmmm. I think if I had your model M35/45 I'd hold out for the JIc's. You'll have more room to play. I've seen the 2006-2008 M's with the Eibachs and Espiliar and it doesn't sit right in my poinion. The looked to low in the rear or not low enough

The JICs have a 15 way damper adjustment from soft to hard. I am in the middle and the ride is great, no bounce, not stiff, but a much more controled ride, I also don't have a sport.

height is totally up to the owner as cake mentions, whereas springs you are set to where the factory set those springs height.

I have only driven 1 lowered M and it had the Eibachs. I think the ride quality is greatly diminished by only installing springs with stock absorbers. If you are going to lower your car I would also say would most likely have better results with the adjustable setup.
