I've been looking into buying a 240SX and I've seen alot of cheap ones most of them being 1995's. Now i was wondering if in the long run it'd be worth buying one of those with higher mileage or one of the more expensive newer models like a 97-98 with less mileage? Just looking for some advice from everyone thanks :D

Is it going to be your daily driver? Track car? Swap or no swap?

I would rather have a well-maintained, higher-mileage car than one that has lower miles but hasn't been taken care of very well. My last 240 I bought with 189k from Bubba1 who was the original owner, drove it from Philly to Indy and another 10,000 miles before I sold it (maybe temporarily) to my youngest brother and had no problems. The only problem he's had with it was the passenger side window actuator assembly had to be replaced. It still runs like a top with over 200k.

I guess I would spend what it took to get what I wanted, but don't get taken either. Don't be in a hurry, as you'll surely make a mistake. Don't ask me how I know that.

I test drove one today! a '98 SE with 69K, automatic, cd player, moonroof, forgot to check about ABS/V-LSD, but I'm pretty sure it has it........Grand total =$9991, I could talk him down though because I knew the previous owner, and what the dealer did to make the car look nicer.

Yeah i agree with you there about taking my time, I almost bought an Acura Integra sometime last year and i'm glad i Didn't, nothing seemed wrong with it but now i would've regreted it. Anywayz thanks for the info i appreciate it and will take it into consideration. The car for now will more than likely just sit around for a bit till i can do a swap and clean it up enough to make everyone drool which wont be for a good 2 years or so(till i've gotten the engine and the car and cleaned it up) for now i'm stuck with my Altima hehe

They are. Completely the same except for that front end, really.
