Questions on Purchasing a 240SX

I've been looking into buying a 240SX and I've seen alot of cheap ones most of them being 1995's. Now i was wondering if in the long run it'd be worth buying one of those with higher mileage or one of the more expensive newer models like a 97-98 with less mileage? Just looking for some advice from everyone thanks

This question is not something easily answered. If all else are equal of course the lower mileage is better. However, it is really too hard to say since used cars all have had very different lives. If you can't do it yourself, take it to a trusted mechanic and have them do a good once over and give you their opinion. I'd do this for a couple of those cars you are considering and go from there. Even if you are planning to do an engine swap, the rest of the car needs to be in good shape still.
