We purchased a used M37 with 38.5k miles on it. Nice, clean well taken care of it seems. Now I want to know how I can get updates to the darn Nav system? Our old I35 had the DVD Nav and I hated it, this one looks like it has some type of "Key" License for upgrades. DO I have to take it to the dealer to update the Nav package? Can I Hack it?

And the tire monitor system only shows 3 dots, no numbers? Are there suppose to be numbers that indicate psi?

And can I copy from a Memory stick to the "MusicBox" system all the music I have?

Thanks.....

I'll take a stab at questions number two and three.

Yes, there should be psi numbers associated with each tire. Do a search here on nico for a reset procedure.

I believe u are out of luck as far as the music box. You can only copy tracks from a cd, not via USB.

Congrats on the new car, mate!
Unfortunately, Infiniti moved away from the DVD NAV system a few years ago. The least expensive way to upgrade now is to purchase the latest version directly from Navteq off their website. (NAVteq is the manufacturer that Infiniti uses for their NAV systems). They either give you an access code or discs that have to be taken to an Infiniti dealer to complete the installation. At least that way you avoid any needless mark-up dealers may charge for the maps / codes.
Also, check back frequently on the Navteq site as they run a special near May each year with a reduced price for any purchases.
Any new M owners ............ please correct me if that is not correct. Mine still uses the DVD system.

Thanks for all of the responses..... Will see if I can locate the tire pressure thing here. Too bad nobody knows anything about a aftermarket Nav system, was looking to get something like the CTS has, nice big screen for these OLD eyes.....

I found a aftermarket set of 2020 maps on DVD and installed them, took about 90 minutes and cost around $160.00. Works great.
