hey i have a stock 2008 g35s with a 6mt n i was looking on some advice on what kind of chip to get, how much it costs,does it work n can u install them yourself

There are no chips per say. There are a couple different hand held programmers, such as BullyDog or HyperTech. There is also UpRev which is quite more elaborate way of tuning. If you have no modifications, then tuning is almost pointless to a degree.

Cobb is still an option if you want something used that has some pre-programmed tunes and can receive a custom tune as well. You just have to accept that Cobb is only supporting FI going forward and not N/A applications.

And as Mike said, somewhat pointless to do a tune on a stock car.
