Hey,

I am looking into buying a Nissan Versa SL. However, I want the car to be fully loaded. I want the convience package, sunroof package, audio package with the splash gaurds and mats. However, I can't find any that are fully loaded in Southern California.

I read that the dealers won't special order or anything like that. I want to buy the vehical in mid-october when I finally turn 18.

If you have or know anything about this, please post.

Also, please post your overall thoughts on the Versa SL model.

Well, when I went to the dealer today, they said they're shipping most of their inventory to Cali. Which is why there is only ONE SL with the convience package in like all of GA.

SUCKS.

I think dealers are still on allocation which means they're restricted to x versas per month. I also think the sunfoor package is not actually released yet. There are multiple parts shortages impacting this vehicle: ABS parts and CVT transmissions. You may have to settle for a car without the sunroof, but if you're patient and/or creative you should be able to find everything else you want.

I tink there's a lot of misinformation out there. I ordered a loaded car (including sunroof, but no ABS) that was built and in transit last week and should have it within 10 days. My dealer has delivered other sunroof cars.

I thought they had a couple on the lot recently. Jordan's in Ames has presold their entire allocation. I got the first one, maybe even the first in Iowa. I bought it on 19 July right off the truck. Didn't even know what a versa was two days earlier.

I am only going by what I've read online. Things are changing every day. If you're getting a sunroof, you're going to have to show it off because it'l be the first one anyone's seen on this board.

What color? Trans? Did you want ABS?

I am looking at the CVT version of the Versa in Magnetic Grey (The darker one). Well I found a Versa with a sunroof on edmunds.com... you can see it there.... looks nice.

The local dealership in my area, last weekend, hasn't even seen the Versa yet... sad. The one in Palm Springs sold 9 in one day...

Can you post a link. I'm on the Versa board on carspace all the time and I haven't seen it yet.
