hey dennis, got a few q's for ya...

the stuff that you got on your site for the install kit, is that only for the rb20det or the rb25det too? I'm asking about the mounts, the intake penlum, and doing the wiring...

the mounts will go on the stock 240's cross member or do we still need to swap out for a R32 or R33?

will do charge the same amount doing the wires for a cut harness from the engine or is it only for a uncut harness?

and is the intake penlum for the rb25det too?

All that stuff is RB20DET or RB25DET. Stock crossmember is used with our mounts.

If you have a cut harness...all bets are off. We'll need to see it and then we can give a quote. If it is cut, I can't guarantee it'll all be there...but since it is cut, we'll have to do a ton more wire splices, and we'll have to charge more for sure.

Thanks,

Dennis

one last thing, with your kit, will I have to put the engine from the bottom up too or can i slowly drop it in at a angle?

and will the mounting kit clear the steering rack or will i have to use a dremmel to cut off a piece of the turbo?

"You don't cut any piece off of your turbo with the RB mounts. On the RB25 swap, you shave a small amount of metal off of the downpipe (proper japanese term) which is actually the iron pipe that goes from your turbo and connects to the front pipe (of which we in America call the downpipe). This shave takes off roughly 1/16 of an inch and does not harm the pipe at all."

does this apply to the RB20 also or just the RB25?
