The intake is very clean. The one you see is the first one before it was really finished. We havent dynoed with the upper but it wont be any worse and it sure makes front mount installs easier not to mention looks bad a** on the car.

To answer some Qs i missed. We do have replacement insulators for our mounts. We dont make a Elbow for the Turbo and not sure we will anytime soon because we are trying so many Turbos right now. As far as aexhaust manifold, i dont see us doing that soon due to the amount of work it is. I REFUSE TO PUT OUT SUB-PAR PRODUCTS JUST TO MAKE MONEY.Im serious. The rb20det fuel rails have been done but i cant get a good supplier for rail stock so its on hold for now. Last but not least the flywheels are 8.5. Thanks for your support.

Don't know how much yet. It's going to depend on the style and what it's madeout off. If I had the bling I would get a equal length made but it would be alot of time in R&D. I'm not sure if the guys at pro-tech have the time to hammer out a equal length right now. It's not going to be a log manifold either unless someone wants one of those.

THEN WHAT IS IT GOING TO BE? I JUST WANT TO KNOW HOW MUCH AND AVAILABLITY AND I MAY BE INTERESTED. I WANTED ONE LIKE SSAUTOCHROME BUT THEY STOPPED PRODUCING THEM.

I'm going to have them make one like that. Bottom mounted turbo, I'm not a fan of top mounted turbo's. Only way I'll go top if he says he can't make it work on the bottom. . . but I know he can.

Someone should make an intake manifold with ITB's to replace the stock one. That way you will get even air distribution.

Very nice looking exhaust manifold!! Who made that? We spent some time working on one but the tube size we were using was too large and i just put it on the back burner. I wouldnt worry about a Intake with ITBs. They are more trouble than there worth. The upgrade to the RB26 is to use a single throttle body.Youd be back peddling to put individuals. On a turbo car the plenum is pressurized so you dont have problems as much with equal air flow because of excessive positive pressure.

It's a blitz manifold. It looks good but it's to thin. I could see that thing cracking after 2 years or so. Unless the Inline 6's run wayyyyyyyyyy smoother than a Inline 4.

They do run waaayyyyy smoother. You'd have to see the engineering calcs to believe it. The difference is incredible!

But no, I'm not saying that thing won't crack ;)

it prob won't then. Part of the problem would be the vibrations from the engine and the heat. I really have no faith in those thin walled manifolds tho.

Hey Mike at Tophat, here is a question for ya....

Who makes that flywheel? It looks like the same exact flywheel for sale here... http://store.up-speed.com/allifl.html

Are you willing to possibly start a NICO groupbuy on these flywheels or at least match the $320 shipped price? I would buy from the other company, but I know nothing about them and would rather not take the chance.

Please post back here or e-mail me at [email protected] I need a flywheel ASAP!

Oooohhh man I hope I can sell my Prelude within a few days. I REALLY want to buy a flywheel, clutch, and downpipe from Top Hat. This flywheel deal makes it even more tempting just to put it all on my credit card, but I don't need that much debt floating over my head atm.
