One, how good is that Bazzoka sub? Can you hear it from outside the car, etc. Three, how much did it cost in total with amp?Four, how much was the dual exhaust install?

I love the bazoka tube. Of course, I'm 35, not 20.

Yes you can hear it outside of the car but that's not the point. To me, the point is to have very well balanced sound INSIDE the car.

I bought it to put in my 1998 Nissan Sentra that I bought new in 1998. The J is the 5th car that sub has been in. I don't really remember how much it cost. I think it was around $300 back then. It has a built in amp. Everyone that has ever heard it before they saw it can't believe that it's only 1 10" sub back there.

If I could do the dual exhaust again this is what I'd do:

Buy 2 chrome tips of your choice.

Take car to muffler shop.

Have them remove rear suitcase muffler/resonator, run two pipes to end of car, and install chome tips.

You could probably get all that done for $150 - $200 I would think.

cool, il get one as my first sub then. Umm, ya with the exhaust. I was thinking of getting two canister mufflers from Greddy or something, and having two straight pipes, like you were saying, hooked up to them. Now that would be sweet!!!

Crutchfield has a special on the 10" 200W bazooka's for like $200 or $250, I forget and E-Bay has NIB Infinity Basslink series 1 w/200w built in amp all day for about $175 with s/h, series 2's with a 250w amp and square 10's for about $225, you can even get the Basslink-T which has a 250w powered 10" and two passive 10"s for about $250.

ETS tech service, how may I help you?... huh?... what? ...I cant hear you?... can you speak louder into the phone?, I drove my car today with the sub on...lol

Victor, I have a sub in my car, however surprisingly you dont hear booming (c)rap coming from my car. 95% of the time it's Christian Rock or Country. So not everyone with a sub is looking to make other people's windows rattle. The Bose doesn't have enough low end to suit me, so I fixed that problem.

Also the J is very well soundproofed. alot of times even with my rearview mirror shaking, you cant hear my radio outside of the car with my windows up.

My new headunit (other thread) has the substitute sub option which makes the 6 X 9's act as subs. I turn my radio up, and they pop like hell so im afraid to blow em. But wow, do they make good bass.
