So today went to dealership to check out the A/C for a better inspection. When looking at the trunk, I noticed that the speakers take up a good portion of the trunk's space. I wondering how people get around when they need to lug some luggage to and from airport with a good 32kg of luggage. I know personally, I need to do that at least once a year. Second thing I noticed is when I sat down in the driver's seat, and man, this car feels big. Not sure if this is what everybody's first impression is, but I expect it to be small/compact/short. Currently my dealer offer me 26K + tax and what other hidden fees. This is the car with premium and technology package. But I'm still debating on whether or not the navi is actually neccessary. Any help with the navi decision will be nice guys. Thank You.

Im assuming you're talking about the 3.5 because yes, it does feel huge.Yes the trunk is tiny but, its a coupe its not meant to carry stuff.I know other cars have bigger trunks but.. The thing that got me with this car is that the rear seats fold flat which increases the room by alot. But you still cant fit anything that is tall.

I think the reason the car feels so big is because the engine is massive. And to support all that power the car is super reinforced. I think you'll love it once u hit the gas pedal.. Its soooo smooth.

Anwyays, i live in Canada and paid 41k for the 3.5 so any price is good in the states for me . (No nav)

And, i dont think you need nav.. google map owns all.

If you're interested in getting a nav unit, you should strongly consider getting an aftermarket nav put in. Check out this thread for a good discussion about dealer vs aftermarket navs: http://forums.altimas.org/zerothread?id=235086 (read rjdmmfl1's posts for many good reasons to get an aftermarket system!).

That price, 26K+tax is for the 2.5 right? If you can get a brand new 3.5 fully loaded for 26K let me know your dealer and I'll fly out to import it asap!

I'm 5'11'' and the car doesn't feel big to me. It feels like a moderate size sports coupe. The trunk is not that big, but it was not a problem for me because I don't carry anything besides a small plastic lock box with the car cover and lock wire chain. I do like the fact that the rear seats fold down giving the trunk no attention. I put 2 tail light boxes (2 x 1 1/2 feet by 1 feet tall, rubber floor mats (2 1/2 x 4 feet and 5 inches thick) and a A/C center councel box which is about 5 feet long, 3 feet wide and 2 1/2 feet tall in the back seat alone. My answer to the NAVI is no Don't get it. Facoty Navigation systems suck on all cars. That's the reason I didn't get it with mine, but I did get every other option available. My question is are you getting the quote for a 2.5 4 cylinder or a 3.5 V6? If it's for a 3.5 V6 PLEASE GET THE CAR!!! Because it is a GREAT DEAL. Good luck with the car and I do hope you get it. They are fun cars to drive and they are not bad on gas which seems to be the problem nowadays.

It's not a bad price dude. I went to Nissanusa.com and did the build your own Altima Coupe thing and for a 2.5 with premium, technology package and the CVT trans which is more expensive then the 6speed manual I got a price of $29,385. And it's better on GAS then the 3.5 I would say . Good luck with your decision with the car and I do hope you get it. I know you will fall in love with the car and enjoy driving it.

I'm 5'4" and the car feels perfect to me It was one of the things I was looking for when deciding to buy this car, wanted it to feel like mine instead of someone else's or a rental one. Great thing is that it doesn't have that cardboard-on-wheels feeling like too many cars that fit me do. So glad I got the Altima Coupe. Hope you enjoy yours!
