I am looking at a 2006 M35x. It has 63,000 miles which is really low for the year. It was a one owner car and looks extremely clean.....my guess some old couple owned it.

Anyway does $13,900 seem like a decent price?
Any issues I should expect right out of the gate?
Anything in particular I should check before purchasing?
Literally any other information that I should know?

Welcome to the forum.

BUY IT. That is a STUPID cheap deal considering mileage. If it has maintenance records, even better! My 2011 M56x with 85kmi and full maintenance history is worth like $18k.

Check the seat rail, if the seat wobbles that'll be something that might cost you a little bit. Also check fluids, etc. The M35 was pretty solid and the only big thing that many people encountered was the seat.

My main concern is the electronics. 10 year old electronics typically start to go. How do the electronics hold up in these? I have also thought about holding out and trying to find a G37x.

IMO a G is not in the same class as an M...regardless of year. The car simply feels cheaper. Much cheaper. I'd never be able to own a G after owning an M, especially after owning an M56. But I understand your concern for 10 year old electronics and don't blame you.

Not typical for Nissans. Especially comparing Infiniti to other luxury brands. I think the Ms look better and offer more utility when compared to the G. I didn't feel like the materials were that much cheaper, but the ride was definitely more sporty... more sportiness than I can ever utilize for my daily commute to give up the spacious interior and extra features of the M.

Either way, you will get a mostly reliable vehicle.
