questions and need help

ok i have a 1919 300zx 2+2 and i thought i knew what mods i wonted to get but as i was doing moew research i didnt really know what to get. what type of exhaust, headers, cool air intake, and should i get the test pipes. also what othr mods should i get. the car has about 120k miles on it but it has a swaped out engine on it and its making a clanking noise and i need to get 1 do u guys know of eney places where i could buy 1. and could i put in a twin turboed engine how will it coast and is it worth it.

According to how much HP you are trying to achieve, the basic mods are:

i wana get the most out of my car its a na tt engine could i put turbos on it or will i have to swap out the engine

follow the stages given to you above and you will be happy.....

N/A = 10.5 to 1 compression + turbos = really big pile of scrap. Do the mods given and you will be happy or be prepared to dump at least $6500 for a good shop to do a tt swap.

i personally went with the B&B Quad oval cat back, it's about twice as expensive as the greddy, but is the highest flow and best sounding exhaust i could find

got mine from z1motorsports, i've been working with them for almost everything on my z. they also have it cheaper than b&b does, about 150 less. call them up and they'll help you out, they know z's inside and out

Approximately 20hp is gained from a catback on a Z32
