Sorry for all these questions guys, but let's say the alternator or clutch needs replacing, can i just pick up those parts from AutoZone or something? This question is mainly asking what parts i won't be able to get easily.

standard ka24 clutch can be used so ... yesno decent fitting alternators from usdm vehicles so ... no

most opt for a rebuild when it comes to alternators

so, i'd have to take it off and find a place to rebuild it? Just can't get a remanufactured one from an auto parts shop?

if your like 99% of people in america i highly doubt theres a japanese or euro parts store that stocks or could get you an alternator for a ca18det, go rebuild. some people will say costs 50 bucks, mine was 200. good luck

BTW, I do have extra alternators in my garage if anybody wants to stock an extra one or two.
