I was just curious, before I buy the Greddy TT kit. I read thepost about doing it the right way, but my question is this: Can i have the tt kit installed, without building the engine first? Like maybe not run too much boost, just enough to keep it a safe application, and rebuild the engine later? If I cant then I will just save up more money for all the other components i guess.

I have looked into this a lot. I am putting the Single turbo Turbonetics kit on my 2004 z. I have found that tuned kits are perfectly safe to put on the motor. I have found that the stock internals will handle around 425 whp at the most. The gretty kit will put around 350-360 whp realisticly as it is tuned from gretty. Turbonetics is 385-395 whp. I am putting the Turbonetics kit and an intercooler nitrous sprayer and I am completely confident that the motor will handle it just fine. I also witnessed a z with the turbonetics kit, greddy boost controller, Kinetix ssv intake manifold and stock internals push 475 at the wheels. He ran that for 2 months before it blew up and he beat the &*#( out of it. Post Pix when you are done I would like to see it. One more thing. The twin turbo kits sometimes have problems ratteling the wheel wells (expecially gretty) so you may have to do some modes to give it a little clearance.
