Its not really a question i think of things that are bad, its a question of how bad they are. Every used car is gonna have something happening that doesn't go perfectly with your dream vision. Just try to find a 240 with a very low degree of rust in places like the front strut towers under the hood, which i think is superficial if not major, also under the rear stock spoiler on a hatch. Also listen to the car (engine) when its started/running/turned off. You may hear exesive rattling from the timing chain which i think is ok to a degree especially durring low rpms, a small amount of rattle should go bye bye when you rev the engine. if not it may need replacement and i don't think its cheap. All in all without saying too much just shop around, and soon you'll see the lemons from the gems, ya do get what you pay for. Grannies I heard give stupid deals on exeptionally clean vehicles.
