K-Sports belong in the trashcan thats why.

Hell, I know people sponsered by K-Sport that tell others not to use them unless their free.

Basics might as well go in the trashcan too, but at least they won't squeak and have somewhat better chances at being properly valved than the K-Sports.

If you want coilovers for maximum slammage get D-Drugs. From what I gather you'll tuck 17s to the rim before maxing those out.

Ksports ar not the best, the price says that but if you daily drive on any coilover they are gonna crap out sooner or later, coilovers are expendable like tires and turbos, and we all know a guy that.............................blah....blah....

Alot of people on these forums think Basics are "crap" or "useless". However, they base thier opinions not on experience, but on what the general consensus is. I have had my Basics for abiut 2 years and they have been great. I drive my car daily, and the ride is still somewhat harsh. I have no idea how coilovers with higher spring rates can even be called streetable. Not everyone needs dampening adjustability, but ride height is critical. The maximum drop is low enough to jam your tires into the wheel wells, so I'm sure it will be enough for anyone running close to stock overall diameter tires. +1 for Basics, especially since i paid $550.

are you sure your ride isnt harsh cause you have rubber bands for tires?

Yes, I'm quite sure. The picture in my sig is old, I've been riding stock wheels and tires for the past week. I just got some 17x8.5's with 225/45's and the ride is still harsh. Youve got to keep in mind that I live in a climate where cold+salt=rally courses for streets. But all in all, my point was that some people call track coilovers streetable because they can drive back and forth from the track.
