Hey I have a few questions about my car and suspension. First question is what would be the best brand and quality as far as coil over suspension and what would I need to get with that to improve handling and suspension all around? I have a '96 200sx se-r and absolutely love it! I was told that I should worry about suspension and handling before I do a whole engine overhaul. I know you guys are very knowledgeable about this type of stuff and look forward to your replies!

Welcome aboard!

If you want a true coilover setup, you can't go wrong with Tein. Strut bars front and rear would extend on the setup along with a good set of sway bars. One part of the equation most people overlook is a good set of tires.

Sweet thanks a lot for the help man. I appreciate it. As far as an engine swap, right now I have a DE but want to swap it to a ff DET . How hard was it and what other stuff do I need to get along with the engine because I know there is a lot of things that need to be modded or added such as clutch, transmission, etc... Thanks again!

The engine is a direct swap. FMIC & piping, heavy duty clutch, down pipe, exhaust, engine management, couple of vital gauges, motor mount inserts and a grin.

Two more questions, I promise. As far as the suspension goes should I order directly from Tein (to avoid counterfeited parts), or is there a really good third party site that I would be able to check out? Second question is, so if I have a DE would it be cheaper/easier to add a turbo to it instead of just doing an all out engine swap? If your DE is healthy, then turbo'ing a DE is going to be cheaper. If it's had better days or you want to run a lot of boost then a DET swap is the better way to go.
