i was looking at my sunroof and realized that the handle to open the shade was tan and the top of it was tan also. so since its light colored when the sun shines through it, it kind of looks orange ish.

im thinking of taking the shade off and "coloring" the top of the handle black to match the top of the shade.

has anyone done this ?? does it bug anyone else as it does me ??

Don't think I've seen anything onbthis before. But, my two cents, I think if you're getting a glow you'll need more than just a coat of color to get the glow gone.

Not sure how to do so, but maybe someone has an idea out there.

would be easy to glue a thin strip of black felt or fabric to the top of the sun shade. Any fabric store would have that. My mazda 6 I just traded in had that done to it from the factory. Don't know what kind of glue to use, oreven if that would work.

If you do it, let us know how it turned out.

I would think you'll wanna brush the glue on.....get it even, otherwiseit's possible you'll see the glue through the shade when in direct sunlight, and that wouldn't look good.
