just blew my motor and I got a longblock that will be here friday. Before the motor goes in I am gonna do cams, rocker arm stoppers and a greddy oil pan. The shop owner doesnt know if the long block comes with a turbo and mine is blown to hell so I will be going big28. These are my questions,

1) HKS Step 1 or Tomei 260's? The cars purpose is street driving, badass spool up, mild drag racing and once in a while road racing.

2) Will the Forced Performance Big28 bolt up to the stock manifold, lines and downpipe with no modification?

3) I dont have a lot of cash so I'm looking for deals and these sound interesting, will they fit? Will DSM injectors fit cuz that guy sells DSM and honda injectors for real cheap.

4) My car blew because of oil pump failure and I am extra careful from now on. Do you think the greddy baffled oil pan is worth the extra cash?

thanks for the help i hope to get this motor in by next week. By the way if you live in IL and would like to help put my motor in call me at 630-235-6492 or email me [email protected]

Thanks,George

I have the greddy oil pan, its is a very good investment i think especially when you can compare the size of it to the stock pan in person. The stock pan is retardedly small

HKS264 step one is what I'm gonna use and I have the same goal as you.

Big 28 bolts right up, my buddy just got one, can't wait to 'test' it tomorrow night against my GT25R. I'll report back if it happens.

DSM injectors would take a custom fuel rail

the Greddy oil pan is nice, I hope to get one. You can never have too much oil (plus it should help cool the oil a little due to the extra surface area and volume)

What kinda numbers should I expect from the big28 as opposed to the FPgreen. I've seen DSMs in the low 12s with the FPgreen, never heard of the big28 before...

Hey.,. I've got the big = 28.. I luv it.. spools up about 3200 rpm all the way to redline. Sounds awesome.. if f'ing screams like hell. I don't thing those injectors will work though.. I did see some new side mount injectors on ebay for around 400 for the set. they were 550s .. just get some sards though..

Jay has the Big 28, after riding in my car with the GT25R he put the turbo up for sale that night. I was not at all impressed with a hogged out T25, I'd definatly spend the extra money and get a 'real' turbo right off the bat. You just can't get the same performance from a stock housing (even if you machine it out) that you can get from a 'man sized' housing.

I'd deff look into somthing bigger though, even if it is like $250 more.

What kinda numbers can you pull from a big28? Is it comparible to the S15 T28? What about the prices?
