Questions about s13 se and superhicas

I found a 91 240sx se superhicas for a good price but i had a couple questions:

1.) I am having a hard time finding the differences between the base and se model for the S13

2.) I do plan to drift with this car in the future so...If i buy a non hicas rear end will that be just as good as a base model s13? (I heard if you do buy a non hicas rear end you have to buy a different fuel pump or something...not sure)

3.) Also since it does come with superhicas does that mean that it also comes with ABS brakes or...(sorry im just trying to find the differences between base model and se superhicas model.

There are plenty of differences between the two. SE will have options, depending on what the original owner wanted. ABS, power windows, locks, sunroof, HICAS, etc. Base model won't have anything special. Yes you can buy a non-HICAS rear end and no, you don't need a different fuel pump.

Ok thanks for clearing up the Base vs SE differences and the non-hicas rear end. Also I just found out it comes with ABS brakes and a factory LSD.

Since i plan on drifting with it will the ABS brakes hinder my drifting or can I remove it later down the road?

Also about the LSD is the factory LSD a VLSD or...?

If you have hicas you have a foctory VLSD and ABS. To eliminate Hican your going to need hicas eliminators or swap subframes / arms with a non hicas car.

I would prefer the latter of the two.

Ok so will the ABS brakes hinder me drifting or won't I really notice it? also it has a low idle problem where it idles at 700rpm then bogs down to 200 and sometimes kills the motor. Is that problem usually a cheap fix? or too hard to tell?
