I own a 2008 2.5SL altima, stock wheels are 16 inch. My friend was giving me a pretty good deal on a set of 18 inch chrome wheels with tires. If i put the 18's on my car, will it mess up the cars computer system? I've read online, and the dealer told me (though i realize they don't like people putting aftermarket anything on the cars) that changing the wheel size will throw off my speedometer and my anti lock brake system. Is this true and do I have to worry? Or can I put them on the car without any problems? If someone can help me out soon b/c I have to let my friend know if I'm taking them or not. What do you guys think?

depends on the size of the tires. use the below link to see if the tires are a right fithttp://www.1010tires.com/tiresizecalculator.asp

if they are within 3% you should be okay.

any pics?

yes you should be just fine. make sure the lug pattern is the same. you should ask him to allow you to put em on ur car to see if they fit good and if they look good b 4 u buy.

and if u dun like em, im in the market for some cheap wheels hahaa
