i have an 08 g35 sedan and I am curious as to how to get the door panels off on each side in the front. i have a rattle and want to tighten everything down.

also, i am considering replacing the factory speakers so I am curious to see if I even have bose. was this standard on all models? where should the amp be located?

I was looking at Joe's thread about his RF overload install and I see he splices into the bose amp.
I am considering putting one or two 12" subs in the trunk with a custom box I will build to sit on either side of the trunk. so i want to be prepared to do the install myself.

thanks guys. you are always great.

Should be in the FSM, but also probably some links by searching here and on Google. "G35 Sedan door panel removal" should do it.

Last I remember if you radio is Bose then the speakers are as well. Amps are probably in the doors. But I'd check the FSM to be sure.

it looks like the FSM recommends using a tool to remove the pieces onthe door panel. i am not a tech so i woul dnot have the exact tool. can anyone offer any recommendation that have done the job without any damage? i really do not want to foul up the edges of my trim.

Go get a interior tool, they are cheap and very useful for any interior pulling. Perfect for pulling those plastic push pin type things. Like this:

The bose amp is in the trunk in both the sedan and coupe (the coupe's amp is on the drivers' side, under the trunk carpet). The trim pieces come off easily. Just take your time and you won't damage anything.

ok this is going to sound stupid. but i just like to ask before i break something. i was trying to get to my bose amp in the trunk. i want to remove the trunk liner and i see round fasterners holding it in. what is recommended to use to remove them? looks like they push in and expand to hold in place. i could not pull them out with my fingers, so before i use a tool i wanted to get a suggestion. thanks alot everyone.
