I have had a lot of questions about what i did to my exhaust to get it to sound like it does. Well the answer is very simple. I have a 2.5 and i had a local shop install a custom 3in piping catback stainless steel exhaust with generic mufflers for 375. One of the best sounding exhausts i've heard yet on a 2.5 and evidently im not the only one that think so.

3 inches? wow, that's a bit large for a 4 cylinder n/a car.

yes it is...but i was looking for a deeper more agressive exhaust note....which 3 inch piping gave me and 2 or 2 1/2 wouldn't not have

f*** ya, im hitting up the shops. Does the pipe damn near hit the ground though? Any gains if any? Finally, is it like extremely loud inside and outside the car?

i have no problems with ground clearance at the stock ride hight. Feel a good difference throughout the whole powerband. It can be easily heard from inside and outside the car however the mufflers that i got with the car have built in silencers so that should help lower the volumed if needed.

yes i believe they removed the resonator as well. Not too sure since i am deployed and i contacted the shop and had my wife bring my car in to get the exhaust put on.
