Wow man. You've got some researching to do. Short answer: 89-90 240's came with ka24e's. 91-94's came with ka24de's. We're just talking s13's. So, the answer to your question is yes.

You may want to browse through this thread. It'll give you a nice bit of info about 240's. zerothread/183490

dont bother..you can find a good price on an sr20det

if you have a little bit of extra money to spend on the motor..and yes, it'll be worth every penny

unless super clean, good body, and want to do an entire engine swap, you might want to look around some more. i picked up my 240sx at a car auction for 500. few dents here and there, but had a good running ka24e. but dont know if you'll get as lucky as me.

screw the single cam (ka24e) either go DOHC (KA24de) or sr20... and if you're hardcore get 2jz in there! i'll call you master!

i could easily pick up an SR for like 1000 dollars. The only thing with the SR is putting it in. me and a couple of my friends could do it but my friends arent very reliable and i dotn want to have to deal with them and i also dont want to put it into a shop because no matter where they always **** **** up if ya know what im sayin.

the car is clean and it has no rust or anything just no motor or trans so i think to pick up the 89 coupe for 500 bucks is a good deal but i could probably talk him down to 200 cause he said he was flexible.

Would the motor mounts line up for the ka24de in the 89 because i dont want to have to make motor mounts for that bull**** cause thats too much work and too much trouble
