I searched and read the FAQ and all, and I guess I'm the only person who doesn't already know this, but how do you hook up your stock gauges to work with MegaSquirt? And if you're doing it on an auto transmission, do any other modifications need to be made for it to run correctly?

i got megasqurt 2 running on my car last week. If i haven't been sick with a respiratory infection i would have a tune worked out and be driving it but whatever..

you only need to rig up a simple circuit to give out the signal to the factory tach.

so that's pretty easy to do.

Also at the moment Megasquirt can't properly control an automatic transmission. So you're gonna have to do a 5spd swap or wait until they get a module that will work with an auto ka.

Does anyone have graphs that show the function logic of the automatic transmission? megasquirt has a new controller that can be used for controlling trannys. I am thinking of using one of them but need to know how to program it to control the transmission. What would be great is if I could get graphs that show the relation of shift points, rpm, speed, throttle position and line pressure.
