So I went out last night and bought me a 95 J30 with 116,000 miles on it.I paid only $2800 for it so I'm not going to complain much about trivial things such as a little (almost nonexistent) rust, nonworking CD player (radio and tape works) and such.I do have a few questions though.
First, what can cause drivers side rear window to not work and how expensive would it be to fix it?
Second, passenger side doors (yes, both of them) have some issues, in particular they don't open very well. When I'm trying to unlock them, I hear that little electric motor work, but I also hear that snapping sound as if it is trying to open, but lock is somehow jammed. I'm able to force it open, but would very much like to fix that unless its very expensive.
Third, engine has a weird sound to it when idling, almost like a bad cylinder, but it goes away (or rather drowns in general noise) when I accelerate. Is it a common issue with Infinities? I used to have a QX4 with the same problem and a buddy of mine has a J30 that does the same thing only much louder and it increases as he accelerates.
And one last thing is this, the little panel right under the windshield (on the inside) is kinda popped up. I don't remember it being that way when I bought the car last night and I'm sure I didn't pry it open either. Is it a feature or something I should just shove back in and forget about it.
Thats about it.
Oh yeah, here is the picture, it is cold outside and I'm in lazy mode, so I just snapped one through the window.
