First off I'd just like to say I'm new to this forum so thats that.

I would like to know what are some suggestions for modifications to my Coupe 3.5 to add more horsepower and increase overall performance (i.e. cold air intakes, exhaust systems, etc.). Can you please give brand names, exact products, and prices. I'm not looking to spend over a grand total. Thanks.

Welcome to the forums! You should look around the altima forums and do a little research. There's tons of info laying around. You can check out the Members Modification thread to see what people have on their rides, that's a good place to start too.

Welcome! Here's a page with a lot of the mods available for our Coupes:

Just watch out for the mod bug.. It's really contagious and very hard to get rid of

Ok just two more questions for you. What kind of Fujita air intake do you have and where did you purchase it?

I can answer your two questions with one answer: http://www.fujitaonline.com/20...8.htm

I'd definitely recommend it! It has a very aggressive growl and I'm sure it helped performance too

Thanks and sorry if I ask you too many questions but did you install it yourself or did you have a shop do it and if so how much did it cost?

DIY - Do it yourself, save the money and have that sense of satisfaction/completion. It will take you less than an hour.

I agree. I'm no mechanic or anything, but I was able to figure it out and it was satisfying knowing I did it myself (it's not that difficult, but still). Also helps you learn more about your car.

There's no space unless you relocate the battery.

Altima's were not designed to be super sports cars when they first came out. With the engine being placed horizontally as opposed to laterally (like the 350z and G35) that really eats up a lot of engine space. There are some people who have relocated the battery to the trunk of the car for their turbos...
