Yes they are "blow and replace" - if they blow you will likely be replacing your engine.gammer_ghn wrote:i was wondering if changing all the engine hoses and vac lines would help my car perform better or if hoses are just Blow and replace parts? I was wondering if i should invest in it or no...
No man you will not have to replace your engine if you just pull over and shut the car off.. you got about 1-2 minutes of drivability until you get into ****... this has happened to me before and my motor ran fine until I sold the car two years later... I do my own maintenance. I replaced all of the radiator hoses + the vac lines this morning and replaced my fluids than checked for leaks… My question was that if it will help my car circulate the fluids better that I can feel a difference or it if doesn’t really matter as long as it runs. My Q only has 97000 miles I been taking care of her well so don’t start with me please!!! But thank you for the link!maxnix wrote:Yes they are "blow and replace" - if they blow you will likely be replacing your engine.
You seem to be unfamilaiar with the concept of preventative maintenence. May I recommend all of Q45tech's previous posts to you? It will save you beacoups dead presidents in the long run and enhance your performance to the maximum possible without a total race quality rebuild.
You need to make the pilgrimage to http://www.jerrytucker.net . You will be glad you did.
And which gauge tells you that? The coolant gauge has too much lag. 2 miles at highway seeds is about 90 seconds too long.gammer_ghn wrote:No man you will not have to replace your engine if you just pull over and shut the car off.. you got about 1-2 minutes of drivability until you get into ****...
