Allright, i just bout this 240 that needs alot of work to get it running. Nothing too big but still needs stuff.

Anyways, im trying to get it all wired and basically none of the plugs are plugging in.

First, Can anyone see by the pics what year the harness is and what year the motor is. The ECU says 24 on it.

-THANKS-

someone spiced different injector pigtails onto the harness you have. I would go to a salvage yard that has a s13 and see if they'll let you take a look at it, if the wiring harness is still there ask them if you can buy it, if its not too chopped up. Then just correct your harness with parts from the other and you should be in business.

the motor is an s14 motor. a lot of sensors and whatnot on the s13 engines are bosch style plugs, the s14 uses different plugs

the harness is an s13 dohc harness

i think it might be easier to turn the 95 motor into a 93 or w/e the year the s13 is, then to adapt the s14 harness to the s13 chassis. your best bet would be to get pigtails from all the plugs you'd need to make the harness work and then splice them into the s13 harness, doest that make sense cause i just woke up?

yeah I didn't even pay attention to the upper plenum, I just noticed the injector harness cover and figured someone was going to go topfeed with that harness. Philsfallingdown has a 95 motor and harness in a 90 hatch. The wiring wasn't too bad, but it does take understanding of diaghrams to wire properly. His car runs and drives like a 95. I would suggest finding an s13 intake with the sensors and swapping that from the 96-98 that you have. Those pigtails on the injector leads don't look correct either, from what I can see.

look there are alot of differeneces in wiring versus the two de engines (s13 to s14). I sat and scratched my head over schematics for weeks.

If you already have a hacked harness, find another harness.

If you want it to run like a 95 find an unmolested s13 from your year and an unmolested 95 harness. Then send both harnesses to mckinney or yuri, pay them to wire it up. that price is worth the headache of trying to work out every hang-up you will have.

typical fix. buy a intake from a s13 de and the s13 de wiring harness. s13 de pooter. s13 de distributor. prollem fissed.
